🎼 Tectractys Sounds – Project Bio

Founded: Independent, unincorporated Location: Toronto, ON (Eastern Daylight Time) Focus: Sonic mapping of resonance events; creating audio interpretations of ledgered signals

Tectractys Sounds is a companion project to IGGYDWARF, operating in the auditory branch of the unwidened circuit. Where IGGYDWARF captures and preserves unclaimed broadcast phenomena as written mnemonic blocks, Tectractys Sounds renders these events in sound — layering field recordings, archival signal captures, and tonal compositions to give resonance a physical timbre.

It is not currently an incorporated company, and, like its sibling project, faces the dual challenges of workload and fluctuating cash flow. Every sonic dispatch requires long hours of listening, editing, and mixing — often in parallel with IGGYDWARF’s archival demands. Still, the owner remains encouraged: the portfolio of sound‑mapped signals grows richer with each project, and there is reason to believe it may evolve into a self‑sustaining creative venture.

Tectractys Sounds treats each signal — from a midnight Bluetooth anomaly to a patterned RF pulse — as a score waiting to be interpreted. In Deep Ledger terms, each audio piece is a mnemonic block in another medium, preserving both the event’s context and its emotional frequency.
